Cooling tower fan selection is not just about diameter. At the same diameter, different blade angles, speeds and motor power produce completely different airflow and pressure curves.
Six parameters to provide
- Airflow (m³/h)
- Static pressure (Pa) or tower resistance
- Fan diameter or tower model
- Voltage and frequency (e.g. 380V/50Hz)
- Noise limit dB(A)
- Application (HVAC, chemical, data centre, coastal, etc.)
For a retrofit, add the original fan model, belt box model, interface dimensions and site photos. We confirm the fan series, blade angle, speed, motor power and drive package, and issue a data sheet for approval.
